A very amusing, honest and enjoyable read, full of real experiences. Not just about the various parks, but also the people and communities that surround them. - Peterbee, Fish Hoek
There's a really good review of this book in the May 09 issue of Getaway magazine, which calls it "highly entertaining" and tells a bit about some of the interesting characters the author writes about. Obviously not one of those dry, boring books about nature, but sounds like lots of fun. I'll be checking it out at Exclusives or kalahari soon. - Ursa, Cape Town
I have also really enjoyed this book. it's full of fun and humour but also has lots of useful information. The only bad thing is that it makes you WAY too keen on getting away on holiday and not very keen on work at all! Other Forum members are bound to enjoy it too. It brings the parks, people to life and now I've got a long list of things I want to do next time.- Russ
Thoroughly enjoyed book - Shirley-Ann
